In cooperation with Prof. Scherzer´s group (Institut für
Informatik, Universität Innsbruck), we work on projects in
mathematical image processing like denoising or segmentation.
|
The mathematical formulation frequently leads to
nonlinear diffusion equations on very fine grids or to problems
of front propagation. |
